Compulsory subjects, characteristic of the class; SSD: The course aims to provide basic knowledge on the computer architecture, with emphasis on the hardware bucvi, the logical networks used as components of computerthe Instruction Set Architecture model, the processor microarchitecturethe memory hierarchy and, on peripheral input and output.
The course focuses on Intel processors, from simple to multicore architectures, referring to the 32 bits architecture.
Are planned Laboratory exercises on assembly programming and on the design of logical networks and digital circuits for computers.

For this reason, references to commercial systems are episodic and only illustrative.
